(Eagle News) — Members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and around 10 Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters clashed early Wednesday morning in Maguindanao.
Capt. Arvin Encinas, public information officer of the 6th Infantry Battalion, said in a radio interview that the members of the 6th IB launched an air and artillery firing assault at the BIFF in Shariff Aguak, based on information provided.
Encinas said so far, the military was still “clearing” the area.
“Hindi natin ito lulubayan. Sinusubaybayan natin ito para di na makahasik ng gulo sa lugar,” Encinas said.
