MIAA: NAIA runways safe for landing, take-off following 6.1-magnitude quake

(Eagle News)–It’s business as usual at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport following a 6.1-magnitude earthquake that struck Zambales on Monday, April 22, and that was felt in parts of the country, airport authorities said.

Manila International Airport Authority general manager Ed Monreal said the NAIA runways were “safe for landing and take-off.”

“Terminal facilities are functioning with no reports of downtime,” he said.
