Maynilad to adjust water rates next month

MANILA, Philippines, September 15 (Eagle News) — In an advisory, West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services Inc. announced on Monday (September 15) that there will be a slight increase in its rate that will reflect in October billings.

Said water rate hike was due to higher foreign currency differential adjustment (FCDA).

Meanwhile, Maynilad said that the rate will increase to P0.53 centavos per cubic meter.

Maynilad also advised consumers that are consuming 10 cubic meters a month to expect an increase of P0.36 centavos in their water bill.
