Marcos to file electoral protest today

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — Senator Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos is set to file an election protest on Wednesday, June 29 against incoming Vice President Leni Robredo before the Supreme Court which will serve as the presidential electoral tribunal.

In an interview with Net 25’s Liwanagin Natin, Marcos’ campaign manager, ABAKADA representative Jonathan Dela Cruz, said they are to present a 3,000-page detailed and comprehensive protest.

This, he said, covers 40 thousand precincts or almost half of the 96 thousand polling precincts in the country.

Dela Cruz said they will ask the p-e-t to invalidate the election results in certain areas.

They will also be asking for a judicial recount and revision of the ballots.
