Manila Traffic Bureau: No traffic rerouting yet

MANILA, Philippines, August 28, 2:21 PM (Eagle News Service) — The Manila Traffic Bureau is yet to implement a road rerouting scheme along Taft Avenue despite the increasing number of members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo joining the “Peaceful Assembly” since Thursday, August 27.

According to SPO3 Bart Tupas, Chief Motorcycle Unit of Manila Police District (MPD), they are still assessing the situation in the area.

On Friday morning, the Supreme Court issued an advisory to their affected employees and the Court of Appeals to find an alternative route for them to be able to go to their respective offices.
