Malacañang Communications Group, surprised on Marcos burial today

QUEZON CITY, Philippines  (Eagle News) — The Presidential Communications Office admitted that they were surprised when they found out that the late President Ferdinand Marcos was buried today at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

Presidential Communications Office Assistant Secretary Anna Marie Banaag admitted that their office was not informed about plans to bury the late President today.

She said that it is the Philippine National Police (PNP) that was fully informed about the details of the Marcos burial.

According to the Presidential Communications Office, it was the personal decision of the Marcos family to bury the late President today after the Supreme Court released its decision allowing the burial of the late President Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
