(Eagle News)–The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board will appeal a Quezon City court’s order to temporarily halt the planned Edsa provincial bus ban.
The LTFRB said for this, it will seek the help of the Office of the Solicitor General.
In the meantime, the agency said it would comply with the writ of preliminary injunction issued by Branch 223.
The court enjoined all parties from implementing the ban until such time the transport groups that challenged the government’s order for the ban post a P1-million bond.
The LTFRB and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, which also issued an order for the ban, were also asked to file their answer to the case.
