MANILA, July 16 (PNA) — Light and Metro Rail Transit (LRT/MRT) operations were temporarily suspended on Wednesday morning.
LRT/MRT spokesperson Hernardo Cabrera via Twitter, said that operations were suspended for safety considerations.
Earlier, he noted that LRT-2 and MRT-3 were operating only with a limited number of trains. While LRT-1 was not operating due to limited/fluctuating power supply.
It was also noted that there were some debris in the tracks of the transit systems.
Cabrera, however assured that operations will resume as soon as safety of all concerned is secured.
