LPA spotted near Eastern Samar

(Eagle News)–A low pressure area has been spotted near Eastern Samar.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said as of 3 a.m., the LPA was 890 kilometers east northeast of Guiuan.

PAGASA said cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected in Mindanao and Eastern Visayas due to the trough of the LPA.

Flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

The whole of the country will also have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
