MANILA, Philippines, August 20 (Eagle News) — Senator Loren Legarda, Senate Committee on Climate Change chairman, encouraged the public to conserve water in the face of the severe drought brought about by the El Niño phenomenon, which may last till the early part of 2016.
Legarda added that the government can also try other measures like cloud-seeding if needed.
