(Eagle News)–The National Bureau of Investigation has filed graft raps against former Customs chief Isidro Lapeña.
Also charged with violation of Section 3, Paragraph (e) of Republic Act No. 3019, or the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, over the disappearance of 105 containers of ceramic tiles from the Bureau of Customs this year was another who has not been identified.
The containers had been under an “alert order” and had been prevented from being released.
Eighty five of them were recovered in Bulacan.
Lapeña has been transferred to the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.
