(Eagle News)– Alleged drug supplier Lovely Adam Impal has surrendered to Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa.
Self professed drug dealer Kerwin Espinosa said during a Senate hearing that he and slain drug lord Jeffrey “Jaguar” Diaz got their drug supply from Impal.
“If you can recall merong binanggit si Kerwin na ka-level lang n’ya na drug lord or drug queen, na ang pangalan ay si Lovely Adam Impal, nag-surrender sya sa akin,” Dela Rosa said in a press conference Monday (December 5).
Dela Rosa said Impal was accompanied by Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) regional police director Agripino Javier.
“Right now she’s undergoing investigation ng AIDG (Anti-Illegal Drugs Group),” Dela Rosa said.
In a Senate hearing on November 23, Dela Rosa told senators that the police has already located Impal.
Dela Rosa said Impal seemed to be telling doubtful information.
“Iyong ibinibigay niyang impormasyon ay iyong alam niya na hindi masyadong makakadiin sa kanya. Iyong makakadiin sa kanya pinipigilan niya,” Dela Rosa said.
The PNP chief said they were checking if there are existing warrants of arrest issued by the courts against Impal.
Dela Rosa warned drug syndicates may already be waiting for Impal to leave police custody.
“It is presumed na pinaglalaglag na niya ang mga pangalan ng sindikato. Baka mamaya ha-hunting-in na din s’ya ng mga sindikato, she’s free as a bird,” he said.
