(Eagle News)–Mayor Joy Belmonte has suspended classes on Monday, July 22, in Quezon City to pave the way for President Rodrigo Duterte’s fourth State of the Nation Address.
In a Tweet, the Quezon City Public Information Office said the suspension applies to all levels in all public and private schools.
The President will hold his SONA before a joint session of Congress in the Batasang Pambansa.
The Palace has said Duterte has vowed his speech would be short.
