(Eagle News) — “Kammuri” has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
According to PAGASA, the weather disturbance entered PAR at 4 p.m. today and is now called “Tisoy.”
PAGASA earlier said a Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 may be hoisted over Northern and Eastern Samar with the entry of Tisoy.
It said “Tisoy” was expected to make landfall in the Bicol region, and may bring moderate to heavy rains and thunderstorms over the region and Samar provinces starting Monday, Dec. 2.
Most of the areas in Central Luzon, Southern Luzon and Metro Manila will experience strong winds and heavy rains on Tuesday and Wednesday, PAGASA said.
