(Eagle News)–A 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck Cotabato on Tuesday, Oct. 29, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
PHIVOLCS earlier said the quake that hit 26 kilometers northeast of Tulunan at 9:04 a.m. was a 6.3-magnitude one.
In its upgraded advisory, PHIVOLCS said the earthquake hit 25 kilometers southeast of Tulunan.
PHIVOLCS said it had a depth of focus of seven kilometers.

Damage to property and aftershocks are expected.
On Oct. 16, a 6.3-magnitude quake also struck the province, leaving several dead.
