Fellow Filipino Kim Remolino gets silver
(Eagle News)–John Chicano on Sunday, Dec. 1, clinched the Philippines’ first gold in the 30th Southeast Asian Games, with a convincing win in the men’s triathlon event.
Chicano, who clocked in at one hour, 53 minutes and 24 seconds, also made a new SEA Games record.
Finishing second was fellow Filipino Kim Remolino, with a time of 1:55:01.
Indonesian Muhammad Ahlul Firman clinched the bronze medal, with a time of 1:57:08.
