(Eagle News)–The proclamation of winning Senate and party-list bets will not push through today, May 21.

Commission on Elections spokesperson James Jimenez said the National Board of Canvassers was still awaiting the arrival of Certificates of Canvass from Los Angeles, California in the United States.

Earlier, the poll body said the proclamation might push through on this day, with the winning partylists to be proclaimed in the morning, and the winning senators at night.

As of 10:42 a.m., reelectionist Senator Cynthia Villar continued to lead the Senate race, with 25,119,270 votes, based on partial and unofficial results from the Comelec transparency server.

This was based on 98.29% of nationwide election returns.
