QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The company of the House Technology Industries is ready to cover all the expenses incurred by those who were injured and affected by the fire in the Economic Processing Zone in Cavite.
Cavite Governor Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla said that this is the reason why he did not push through with the declaration of “state of calamity“ in the area.
Governor Remulla also clarified that the local government has no jurisdiction to check fire safety in the EPZA.
The fire is said to have caused damages worth Php 15 billion.
