House mourns passing of Rep. Albano

(Eagle News) — House majority leader Martin Romualdez on Wednesday, Nov. 6, mourned the passing of LPGMA party-list Representative Rodolfo Albano Jr., who died due on Tuesday night.

In a statement, Romualdez said Albano,’s death was a “great loss.”

He described him as a “man of integrity, compassion, strength and exemplary deeds” and of  “unwavering dedication and sincere service to our nation until the very end.”

Albano, a former House majority leader, passed away due to heart failure at the age of 85.

The House of Representatives is expected to honor him today, Nov. 6.

Funeral services will be held at the Isabela Provincial Capitol starting Saturday.
