(Eagle News)–Senator Risa Hontiveros described as “absurd” the allegations made by Peter Joemel Advincula against the Liberal Party and Antonio Trillanes IV.
“When Bikoy came out with his videos accusing President Rodrigo Duterte, his family and close political friends of links to illegal drugs, this administration was quick to shoot down his credibility, even going so far as to threaten him with arrest..Ngayong nag-iba ang tono at inakusahan ang oposisyon, credible na agad?” she said.
She said this was a “fanciful and another attempt by this administration to distract the public.”
“Just like the President’s matrices, it is another product of Malacañang’s wild imagination,” she said.
Advincula had said the LP and Trillanes were behind the “Ang Totoong Narco-list” videos against President Rodrigo Duterte, his family and allies.
He said the videos were part of Project Sodoma aimed at ousting President Duterte and at discrediting his former aide Bong Go.
He said with Duterte out, Vice President Leni Robredo would be installed as the President by operation of the Constitution, while Trillanes would be installed as vice president.
