Health workers ask for higher minimum wage

QUEZON City, Philippines, April 17 (Eagle News) — The Alliance of Health Workers (AHW) conducted mass actions to air their request for a 16, 000 pesos minimum wage. The program started in the Welcome Rotonda,Quezon City and ended at the Philippine Orthopedic Center (POC). Said group lamented the fact that health workers in the country cannot cope up with the current standard of living in the country.
