According to Guevarra,  the Interpol National Central Bureau in Manila certified this about Xu Zhijian, also known as Jacky Co.

Guevarra said based on the Consul General of China, the Chinese national, however, had a pending case in China.

Based on the Bureau of Immigration, Guevarra said there are also no records a Xu Zhijian departed from Manila on April 3, as claimed by Lacson in his privilege speech on Wednesday, May 29.

He said based on the bureau’s records, one Xu Zhijian, however, left the country on March  20.

Guevarra said this Xu Zhijian was allowed to leave because there was no existing hold-departure order against him nor ang Interpol alert.

In any case, Guevarra said the Department of Justice will direct the National Bureau of Investigation to conduct its own probe of the illegal drug importation.

“…And  if evidence warrants, (it will)  file the appropriate complaint against the persons found responsible therefor,” he said.
