Guevarra: Bureau of Immigration on alert for movements of alleged terrorists

(Eagle News)–The Bureau of Immigration’s anti-terror group is on alert  for the movements of people who have been floated as potential terrorists planning to enter the Philippines, Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said.

Guevarra said three names have so far been floated.

He said two of them have no arrival records, according to the BI.

Only one, Guevarra said, “is already here, but has presented herself to the (National Bureau of Investigation) and has disavowed any terrorist connection.”

According to Guevarra, the NBI has already been directed to conduct its probe, particularly in Northern Luzon.

The NBI has until this month to submit its report.
