(Eagle News) — The government is releasing a documentary on its war on drugs later today, Dec. 12.

The Presidential Communications Operations Office, which produced “Gramo,” said the documentary would  tackle “the successes and challenges” faced by the Duterte administration’s drug campaign.

The PCOO said the documentary, which would be shown on PTV-4 and other PCOO-managed social media pages at 7 p.m., would also include Kian delos Santos, who was shot during an Oplan Galugad operation in Caloocan on Aug. 16, 2017.

The police had said they were forced to shoot the 17-year-old, who had fired at them.

Footage later surfaced that Delos Santos did not try to flee, as claimed by the policemen, who were subsequently charged.

In November 2018, police officers Arnel Oares, Jeremias Pereda and Jerwin Cruz were sentenced to reclusion perpetua, or 20 to 40 years in prison, for Delos Santos’ murder.

They were, however, acquitted from charges of planting evidence.
