MANILA, Philippines, August 27 (Eagle News) — The government will lose Php 3.1 billion if the “no remittance day” declared by overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) pushes through.
The “no remittance day” was declared in protest of the random inspection policy conducted by the Bureau of Customs against balikbayan boxes.
