Government ready for state visits of Brunei’s Sultan Bolkiah and Indonesian President Widodo

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — Malacañang is prepared for the two-day state visit of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam, which will coincide with the Association of South East Asian Nation Summit.

Some of the activities for the state visit include wreath-laying on the Jose Rizal Monument, welcome ceremonies, an expanded bilateral meeting between the Sultan and President Rodrigo Duterte, and a state dinner.

Sultan Bolkiah is expected to arrive Wednesday night (April 26). His state visit officially starts Thursday, April 27.

The President will also host the state visits of Indonesian President Joko Widodo on Friday, April 28.
