(Eagle News)–The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) and the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines Inc. (PHAPI) have agreed to work together to resolve the millions of pesos of supposedly unpaid claims.
Senator Bong Go said in a radio interview that the two reached an agreement after a meeting with him on Thursday.
“They have reached an agreement to work together to resolve their issues… They will work closely to resolve the alleged fraudulent claims at tiniyak ng PhilHealth na handa silang makinig at makipag ayos sa pribadong ospital,” Go said.
Earlier, several private hospitals threatened not to renew their accreditation with PhilHealth because of the supposed P2.5 billion in unpaid reimbursements.
