Frontal system affecting Central, S. Luzon on Thursday, May 9

(Eagle News)—A frontal system is affecting Central and Southern Luzon on Thursday, May 9.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said as a result, cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected over the provinces of Aurora, Cagayan and Isabela.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms are expected over Batanes, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan, on the other hand.

Moderate winds  will prevail over Extreme Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate, the weather bureau said.

Winds will also be light to moderate over the rest of Northern Luzon and in Aurora Province, which will also have slight to moderate seas.
