Fresnedi headed for re-election as Muntinlupa mayor

(Eagle News)—Reelectionist Jaime Fresnedi is poised to win another term as mayor of Muntinlupa, as he led the race by more than 100,000 votes over his closest rival.

With 99.73 percent of election returns transmitted, Fresnedi continues to lead tbe pack of mayoral hopefuls with 163,696 votes.

His closest rival, Red Mariñas, so far has 51,988 votes, followed by Baby Aguilar with 1064 and Rudy Victa with 441.

Celso Dioko appears headed for a  failed  reelection as vice mayor as he trails PDP-Laban’s Artemio Simundac by over 30,000 votes.

Ruffy Biazon, son of former Senator Rodolfo Biazon, is also poised to win reelection as Muntinlupa congressman, as he continues to lead his closest rival, Paeng Arciaga, by roughly 130,000 votes.
