Freddie Aguilar’s house in QC hit by fire

(Eagle News) — The house of singer-songwriter Freddie Aguilar was hit by fire late Tuesday night.

A radio report from DZBB said the house in Barangay North Fairview, Quezon City started at 11:06 p.m.

The fire reportedly started in Aguilar’s music room, but firemen have yet to determine how it started in the first place.

The blaze–which reached the first alarm—was put out at 11:39 p.m.

No one was reported injured, even if Aguilar’s wife, Jovie, who was pregnant at that time, was forced to jump off the balcony to save herself.

Aguilar’s awards and other mementos were reportedly destroyed in the fire.
