Former VP Binay trailing in Makati congressional race

(Eagle News)–Former Vice President Jejomar Binay is behind in the race for the post of   Makati 1st district representative, based on partial and unofficial results.

Binay has so far 62754 votes, 5360 less than his closest rival, Romulo “Kid” Peña as of 9 p.m.

In the 2nd district, incumbent Rep. Luis Campos was still leading with 88528 votes as compared to his closest challenger King Yabut’s  61885.

Campos is the husband of Binay’s daughter Abby, who is also leading in the mayoralty race with 173832 votes, vis à vis her brother Junjun Binay’s 95517.

Junjun Binay is her closest rival.
