Former Social Welfare Secretary Dinky Soliman passes away at 68

(Eagle News) — Former Social Welfare Secretary Dinky Soliman passed away on Sunday, Sept. 19.

Vice President Leni Robredo made the announcement in her weekly radio show.

Soliman was 68 years old.

No other details are immediately available at the moment.

Soliman was first appointed head of the Department of Social Welfare and Development during then-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s administration.

She served in the same capacity during then-President Noynoy Aquino’s term.
