MANILA, Philippines, Sept. 1 (Eagle News) — Thousands of fishermen will gather in Luneta to protest the implementation of Republic Act 10654 or the Amended Fisheries Code of the Philippines which will negatively impact their earnings due to the fact that many will no longer be able to engage in fishing due to the strict policies provided in the law.
