(Eagle News)–A fire broke out in Star City, an amusement park in Pasay City, early Wednesday morning.
Authorities said the blaze struck the compound past midnight.
The fire alarm was raised to Task Force Bravo as the blaze went on to affect the nearby Manila Broadcasting Corp. building.
The fire was declared under control at 4:30 a.m.
In a statement, the MBC said its FM stations will continue regular operations, while its AM station will go back on-air within 48 hours or less.
Star City, on the other hand, will be closed throughout the holiday season.
“MBC officers are closely coordinating with authorities to determine the cause of the fire,” the statement said.
