Filipinos still welcome in the US

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — Filipinos are still welcome to go the United States of America despite the controversial executive order of President Donald Trump against the entry of refugees and citizens of seven Muslim countries.

US State Department spokesman Mark Toner said that the Philippines is not included in the listed countries of concern by US President Trump.

Trump’s executive order banned travel to the US from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Somalia and Sudan.

Toner also said that if one has the proper visa to go to and live in the US, then they can do so.
