QUEZON City, Philippines – Tropical storm “Ferdie” will leave the Philippine area of responsibility today. According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), “Ferdie” will leave PAR this afternoon and that it continues to lose strength.
On the other hand, PAGASA is now monitoring a new typhoon that entered PAR, named Gener, which was able to maintain its strength. It was monitored 1,130 kilometers East of Baler, Aurora as of 2 pm Wednesday, September 14.
