(Eagle News)–Former President Noynoy Aquino is in the hospital for a “scheduled checkup and routine procedure.”
Abigail Valte, Aquino’s spokesperson, made the clarification following reports Aquino had been rushed to the hospital for a heart procedure.
According to Valte, Aquino was “alright” and in “high spirits.”
“While he is currently under observation, I was able to speak to him and apprise him of what is being reported in media. Nagbiro pa na baka daw kaya heart procedure ang balita kasi heartbroken siya,” Valte said.
