Members of the Senate may finish their session without discussing the grant of emergency powers to the President to resolve the energy crisis.
The final session of the Senate is scheduled on September 24 before the more than 2 weeks vacation in preparation of the hearing on the proposed budget of the House of Representatives.
The request for emergency powers will fall in the hands of Senator Sergio Osmeña III, chairman of the Senate Committee on Energy.
