Edwin Olivarez wins third term as Parañaque mayor

(Eagle News)–Edwin Olivarez won a third term as mayor of Parañaque, winning by over 50,000 votes more than his closest rival, Jun Bernabe.

Olivarez obtained 169,224 votes as compared to Bernabe’s 52,824 votes.

Other contenders to the post were Maria Theresa Balgua and Zandro Mate.

Rico Golez was proclaimed vice mayor of the city, with his 141,433 votes vis à vis Jeremy Marquez’s 71,229.

Eric Olivarez won the congressional race for 1st district representative with 74,692.

Jimmy Delos Santos only had 13,743 votes.

Joy Tambunting  is representative of the second legislative district with 103,028 votes, a rather wide margin over Pacing Rosal, who got  12144 votes.
