Easterlies continue to affect S. Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao

(Eagle News)–The easterlies continue to affect Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao late Wednesday, April 17.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Flash floods during severe thunderstorms are also expected.

According to PAGASA, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, this time due to the easterlies.

The eastern sections of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have moderate winds and moderate coastal waters, while the rest of Luzon and the rest of the country will have light  to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
