(Eagle News)–The easterlies are affecting the eastern section of the country today.
As a result also of localized thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected in Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Isolated flash floods or landslides in high risk areas during severe thunderstorms are possible.
PAGASA added the ridge of a high pressure area (HPA) is extending over Extreme Northern Luzon.
The northern and eastern section of the country will have moderate winds and coastal waters.
The rest of the country on the other hand will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
