(Eagle News)–The easterlies continue to affect Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao on Sunday, May 5, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
According to PAGASA, Bicol Region, Visayas, and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms as a result.
Flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.
PAGASA said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also have cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers this time due to localized thunderstorms.
Extreme Northern Luzon will have moderate winds and moderate coastal waters, while the eastern section of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
The rest of the country, PAGASA said, will have light winds and slight coastal waters.
