Duterte vows to keep July 22 SONA short, Palace says

(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte has vowed to keep his State of the Nation Address on July 22 short.

This is according to Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo, who said he spoke to the President about the scheduled speech this morning.

“He said ‘Oh it will be short,'” Panelo said.

Panelo has said it was still unclear if the President would read his speech or if he would do an extemporaneous one.

The President stuck to the speech written  on paper in his third SONA last year.
