Duterte visits his parents’ tomb after returning from APEC meet

MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday morning visited his parents’ tomb at the Wireless Catholic Cemetery in his hometown in Davao City.

Duterte arrived in the Philippines from his debut at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Peru, last night.

The President offered candles and a prayer, while pacing back and forth inside his parents’ mausoleum. He was accompanied by his security group and other media men.

In a video posted from RTVM, the president was about to cry but the clip was cut shortly.
