Duterte bares plan for a P2-M bounty for each ‘ninja’ cop who protects drug lords

(Eagle News)– President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday announced in his National Heroes’ Day speech that he will give a P2 million peso bounty for every ‘ninja’ police officer found to be protectors of drug syndicates.

“I am inclined to place a reward on their head, the members of the PNP [Philippine National Police] who are protecting drug syndicates in this country. I am placing on their head P2 million,” Duterte said in his speech.

Duterte stressed his efforts in his war against drugs.

“I will not relent. The campaign will be continuous. I will finish this war against corruption, drugs, and crime,” he added.
