(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte will name the two police officials who are still “playing with illegal drugs.”
According to Senator Bong Go, “hintayin po natin ang resulta ng imbestigasyon ng (Department of the Interior and Local Government) at (Department of Justice).”
“Managot (ang) dapat managot,” he said.
The President had said in a speech during the Valdai forum in Russia that two police generals were still engaged in illegal drug activities.
He made the remark after Philippine National Police chief Oscar Albayalde, a general, was accused of intervening in the cases filed against 13 Pampanga policemen who conducted what the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group said was an irregular raid.
Albayalde has denied influencing anyone into doing anything.
Duterte later clarified those engaged in illegal drug activities were colonels.
