Duterte proposes probe on killings but under PHL supervision

(Eagle News)– President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday (September 26) announced that he is fine with an open investigation of the supposed extrajudicial killings but on one condition.

“Ang proposal ko, let us have an open investigation, diyan lahat kayo sumali na kayo,” Duterte said after the oath-taking of the officers of the Malacañang press.

“But let us follow Philippine jurisdictional requirements,” he stressed.
Earlier, Duterte invited the United Nations, the European Union, and even United States President Barack Obama to conduct their investigations on the deaths.
