(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte has increased the bounty for scalawag policemen to P5 million.
This was P2 million more than the bounty he offered in September last year for the head of what he said was each “ninja” policeman.
“Kung dalhin mo ‘yan sa akin patay, P5 million. ‘Pag buhay bigyan kita diyes mil [P10,000],” Duterte said in a speech during a Hugpong ng Pagbabago event on Friday, Aug. 17.
“Surrender within 48 hours kasi kapag hindi ka nag surrender dadagdagan ko ‘yan P1 million per month hanggang ang asawa mo maghanap ng boyfriend diyan (at) papatayin ka,” he added.
