(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte has declared November 17 of every year the National Students’ Day.
Duterte signed Republic Act 11369 on August 8.
In celebration of National Students’ Day, the law said an annual program of activities should be prepared and promoted.
The National Youth Commission shall serve as the lead agency, while the Department of Education and the Commission on Higher Education will extend their support.
The law said activities for the youth shall also be promoted in public schools and private schools.
