(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte made an appearance at an event on Thursday, Oct. 17, even after he figured in a motorcycle accident the day before.
The President showed up at the Manila Hotel for the Philippine Business Conference and Expo where he was supposed to be keynote speaker.
Senator Bong Go had said Duterte had suffered minor injuries when he took a motorcycle for a spin at the Presidential Security Group compound on Wednesday night.
The Palace however gave the assurance Duterte was “safe” and “in good health” as he only sustained “scratches.”
The Palace emphasized Duterte only had the accident after he parked the vehicle.
